NCAI Requirements to Vote
To have Voting rights, you must first ensure you have an active NCAI membership.
NCAI Membership
The NCAI Membership dues cycle is from each Annual Convention to the next. The membership year ends on September 30, so all members need to renew before Annual.
Use this Member Portal to check your membership status. If you need to renew your membership, go to step 4 and choose Convention "Member Registration & Individual Indian Membership Bundle".
Convention Registration
Once your NCAI membership is renewed, be sure to complete your registration for the NCAI convention. We recommend purchasing the Convention "Member Registration & Individual Indian Membership Bundle" to streamline the process.
You must be present at the convention to cast your vote.
On-Site Voting Processes
As part of the Congress’s regular business, NCAI’s membership will be voting on the organization’s President, First Vice President, Recording Secretary, Treasurer, Regional Vice Presidents (and Alternates), as well as proposed changes to NCAI’s governing documents. The attached memorandum provides invaluable information about how the registration, nomination, campaigning, and voting processes will play out.
